Additional funding to support research excellence and the operation of HUN-REN research institutions

The HUN-REN Governing Board has taken further important steps to support our researchers and research institutions: an additional HUF 7.75 billion will be provided to promote research excellence and strengthen salaries, while a further HUF 3.2 billion will support the operation of HUN-REN research institutions. These decisions mark another meaningful step towards building a strong, performance-oriented Hungarian research network. Their aim is to improve opportunities for our researchers and research institutions, encourage outstanding performance, and further strengthen the scientific excellence and international competitiveness of the Hungarian research network.
