HUN-REN DATA REPOSITORY PLATFORM

The HUN-REN Data Repository Platform, operating with the support of the HUN-REN HQ, aims to develop and operate a digital infrastructure that enables the management of research data according to FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable).

Key features of the HUN-REN Data Repository Platform:

The new platform ensures the storage, shareability, searchability, and accessibility of research data, thereby increasing the visibility and reusability of Hungarian scientific achievements.

The service package allows HUN-REN researchers and faculty and students from domestic higher education institutions to deposit research data, and supports all interested parties in searching among the available research data.

This digital infrastructure has been available to users since the beginning of March 2024.

Three HUN-REN research institutes are involved in the operation of the HUN-REN Data Repository Platform: the HUN-REN Institute for Computer Science and Control, the HUN-REN Centre for Social Sciences, and the HUN-REN Wigner Research Centre for Physics.
