HUN-REN’s leaders welcome HAS General Assembly’s support to sell academic real estate

The transfer of ownership of the real estate to HUN-REN by the government can contribute to the long-term stability of the research network's operation and facilitate substantial development of its infrastructure, which is essential to create conditions for internationally competitive scientific activity. HUN-REN’s leaders are  committed to preserving and continuously developing the assets entrusted to the research network for the benefit and in the best interest of the research community.

We hereby extend our gratitude to the leaders of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences as well as to members of its General Assembly for their trust. We also thank everybody involved in the decision-making process for their responsible and forward-looking approach. Based on cooperation, HUN-REN aims to further strengthen its position in both national and international scientific communities to become a true flagship in Hungary’s innovation ecosystem.
