László Lovász Honoured by Academia Europaea
The Academia Europaea has awarded the Erasmus Medal to Professor László Lovász in recognition of his sustained and outstanding international scientific achievements.
Professor László Lovász, research professor at the HUN-REN Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics, former Director of the Academia Europaea’s Budapest Knowledge Hub, and former President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, has received one of the highest distinctions the Academia Europaea can bestow upon a scientist. The award acknowledges his long-standing and exceptional contributions to international science.
The medal will be presented at the annual conference of the Academia Europaea, taking place in mid-October in Barcelona, where Professor Lovász will also deliver the annual Erasmus Lecture.
