SMARTonvásár Open Uni is coming

Roland Jakab, CEO of the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network, will be the first guest in the new programme series of the HUN-REN Agricultural Research Centre, where he will discuss artificial intelligence.

The SMARTonvásár Open University will launch this Thursday, 13 February, at the Brunszvik Street Research Centre in Martonvásár. The event marks the beginning of a new programme series organised by the HUN-REN Centre for Agricultural Research (in Hungarian HUN-REN ATK), aiming to foster discussions on key scientific and technological topics.

The event will be opened by Dr Jenő Kontschán, Director General of HUN-REN ATK, alongside Bálint Horváth, Mayor of Martonvásár. Following an introduction to the research centre, Roland Jakab, CEO of the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network, will deliver a keynote presentation titled "In the Footsteps of AI: Science Fiction or Reality?", exploring the impact and future of artificial intelligence.
