Space-Ready Science Excellence – Introducing HUN-REN’s new publication!

With more than 120 researchers across eight institutions, the network conducts active space research, covering virtually the entire scientific spectrum from mathematical modeling through space medicine to instrument development. The publication provides a detailed overview of HUN-REN’s areas of expertise, including space dose measurement, space weather research, AI-based Earth observation, microgravity crystallization, and plasma physics. It also reveals how the institutions’ activities relate to the programs of ESA and other international organizations. HUN-REN’s goal is to organize the knowledge base accumulated within the network into a unified strategic framework and, by leveraging existing synergies, become an even stronger player in the global space industry value chain.
