Strategic Cooperation Between HUN-REN and ELTE

10.03.2025

The agreement establishes a mutually beneficial partnership, fostering a positive vision and dynamic development opportunities for both parties.

Lénárd Darázs, the rector-elect chosen by the ELTE Senate, initiated a meeting with Balázs Gulyás, President of the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network, and Roland Jakab, its CEO. During the meeting, they reviewed the existing areas of cooperation between the two institutions and expressed their commitment to strengthening their collaboration.

As a first step in the Rector's strategic plan, the University’s leadership has taken the initiative to enhance cooperation with HUN-REN research institutions active in the social sciences and humanities. This would create synergies between ELTE and the research institutions, fostering a shared vision and dynamic growth potential.
