The Hungarian Space Research Forum was successfully organized last week
The Hungarian Space Research Forum this year again offered a very colorful and all-encompassing program in the field of space research, welcoming participants in Sopron at the HUN-REN Institute of Earth Physics and Space Science. The conference included 27 plenary presentations and 20 poster presentations, covering topics such as space physics, Earth observation, space weather, solar physics, geophysics, atmospheric physics, quantum physics, space astronomy, planetology, data analysis, and medicine. The poster section received significant attention, with participants having the opportunity to present their posters in 2-minute presentations.
The conference program also featured topics like changes in solar wind parameters, interactions between the Earth’s magnetosphere and ionosphere, and applications of quantum physics in space research. The event was opened by a video message from Orsolya Ferencz, Ministerial Commissioner for Space Research, followed by the presentation of László Benkucs, Space Affairs Representative, who discussed the achievements and current status of the HUNOR program.
Furthermore, the Forum provided an excellent platform for discussing professional issues and networking opportunities.
