Visit of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Delegation to the HUN-REN HQ

The meeting served as a continuation of the professional dialogue initiated during President Gulyás’s visit to KIST last year. This occasion provided an opportunity to deepen strategic discussions and outline concrete directions for future cooperation.

Mr. Gergely Szertics, Head of the HUN-REN AI4Science programme, was among the key participants of the meeting. He presented the details of the HUN-REN AI for Impact initiative and highlighted potential areas for collaboration with the Korean partners.

The parties explored possibilities for launching joint research projects and identified several scientific fields where institutional and research centre-level cooperation could further strengthen Hungarian–Korean scientific relations.
