CEE Regional CoARA Forum 2026 Budapest

HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network and the CoARA Boost Project are organizing a Regional CoARA (Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment) Forum on June 2, 2026, and warmly welcome all interested participants to the HUN-REN Headquarters in Budapest.

The aim of the CEE Regional CoARA Forum is to explore the most pressing issues related to research excellence and linguistic diversity in research assessment from both “Widening” and “Non-Widening” perspectives. The event will provide a platform for international high-level decision-makers, representatives of national CoARA working groups, experts, researchers, and partners to discuss the opportunities inherent in the reform of research assessment.

In addition, the forum will offer opportunities for exchanging experiences, gaining new perspectives, and establishing valuable professional connections. We look forward to welcoming you to a lively and meaningful exchange of ideas.

The language of the conference is English. Participation is possible both in person and online. Participants registering online will be able to follow the event in real time and join the discussion via Mentimeter.
