HUN-REN Law Has Been Published

The purpose of the Law on the Hungarian Research Network (Law ID: XCI. /2024.) published in  the Hungarian Gazette is "to further strengthen the scientific research autonomy enshrined in the Fundamental Law, to organize research activities more effectively, to support them more successfully, and to ensure the long-term sustainability of Hungarian researchers' work." Additionally, it aims to "ensure that Hungarian research is recognized as among the best internationally and receives the recognition it deserves."

The announcement of the law is a significant milestone not only for HUN-REN but for the entire Hungarian scientific community.
