How Businesses Can Succeed with New Technologies – Innovation Conference Series Launched
Innovation that shapes the future – with this vision, the Hungarian National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDI Office) invites stakeholders from science, technology, and business to join the conversation. The conference series, titled "One Goal, a Thousand Paths – Innovation for the Future", aims to open new perspectives in the fields of research, development, and innovation.
The first event in the series will take place in Budapest on 8 May 2025. The aim of the conference is to demonstrate how the different stages of the innovation chain are interlinked – from the birth of an idea to its implementation on the market. The event will also provide an opportunity for key stakeholders in the Hungarian innovation ecosystem to come together.
The organisers make no secret of their aim: to inspire participants to shape the future together and to engage in dialogue on how Hungarian innovation can contribute to progress over the coming decade. To support this, the programme will showcase examples that clearly illustrate the impact of innovation funding on the Hungarian economy. The selected cases come from some of the most successful funding recipients of the past decade, featuring stories from small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large companies. These examples demonstrate how support from the NRDI Office has helped them develop new products and technologies, enhance their competitiveness, and create jobs.
Speakers at the first conference include László Bódis, Deputy State Secretary for Innovation at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, and Dr István Greiner, Research Director at Richter Gedeon Plc. The panel will invite entrepreneurs to answer the question: “How can we fine-tune innovation support policy?” In addition to the presentations, the conference series will explore key topics such as the role of research and development in the economy, the practical application of scientific results, and the societal impact of new technologies. Participants will also have the opportunity to exchange experience, build networks, and initiate new collaborations.
The conference is free of charge for members of the Hungarian Project Management Association, but registration is required. Further details on the programme, registration, and the dates of upcoming events in the series can be found on the official website of the NRDI Office.
